Week 9

Hello!

This week our team prepared for the final design showcase to our community partner. Our final product is demonstrated through our slides and my Solidworks model which reflects over 14 hours of design iterations.

Today we will be presenting our final results to our community partner. We are super excited to share with them our results of our modeling, research, and data collection. After our last meeting with Dr. JAK and TA Ruby, we decided that it would be best to scale down the variables in our project. Our last site visit with Dave indicated that the location of the expanded community garden would not be known for some time. Due to this fact, we decided to scale down our project to just collection, storage, and pump distribution.

In the end, I created a 14 hour solidworks design with models of all physical existing barrels, plumbing, pumps, electrical enclosures. I also learned on the fly how to use Solidworks Visualization to create a accurate render of barrels next to the building.
