Week One
During our first week of class, we attended presentations from the different community partners. From the information learned, we then needed to do additional research to determine which community partner we would like to partner with.
Out of the three partners, I chose to work first with Hillsdale High School, then the University of California Compost Education Program. The proposion of building a rain water collection system in an area with little rain sounded like an interesting challenge. It was a challenge I was more than happy to take on as the system is going to help a good cause; feeding the community in need with recycled water.
